Loyola Anti Racism Movement

I'm a core member of the Loyola Anti Racism Movement, a group of students at Loyola who began organizing in response to incidents of racial profiling and the widespread general racism at Loyola. This week is our action week, and we had a huge, very well-attended event on Monday where students of color shared their experiences with racial discrimination and racism at Loyola. Thursday, we are having a huge march to deliver demand letters to campus safety, our president Father Garanzini, and the Department of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs. We got some very good press coverage tonight on the Chicago CBS station, and I expect a lot of good press is going to come in the next few days.

Loyola Students Allege Racial Profiling on Campus

(important note: I am in the background on the far right side at 0:37! Ha!)
